Every year Taneytown Baptist Church partners with Samaritan’s Purse and participates in Operation Christmas Child. You fill a shoebox with certain items and that shoebox is sent to a child in need somewhere in the world. It is a great way to show your love for others and to share the Gospel of Jesus. You can build a shoebox at home then drop it off at our church or you can build a shoebox online. Let’s spread some Christmas cheer!

OCC Shoebox Collection Week Nov 18-25

We collected 698 boxes! Thank you to everyone who helped in the collection of shoeboxes. This ministry is so wonderful and we love to see Jesus’ Word and love spread to kids around the world. Please pray for these boxes as they make their next part of their journey.
